Bad days happen to all of us, that’s for sure. But let me tell you, that shouldn’t stop you from feeling good. So I’ll tell you a secret about how to enjoy even the bad days – it’s all in the attitude!

Take a rainy day for example. As I see it, you have two options. You can either let yourself be sad or grumpy about getting wet … Or you can go out and feel the rain, dance under the storm like a five-year-old child and just have fun!
When I got my dogs I had to go out to walk with them regardless of how the weather was. At first, I was all cranky every time it wasn’t nice and sunny.
But then you realize how silly that is because you are letting something as trivial as the weather to get you down. Ask yourself how often you let something trivial affect your mood and you’ll find that it’s just not worth it.
1. How I instead chose to dance under the rain
So I thought WTF! And then I just started dancing under the rain and we were all jumping into puddles! Since then, I even like the rainy walks more than the usual ones.
I have realized how animals cherish every single moment of their lives. Living in the moment and not worrying about the past or questioning the future is the concept that all of us should be able to grasp. Our everyday walks are my personal meditation.

2. Accept the fact there will always be bad days
Now, you should bear in mind that it is also okay to not be okay. Life is always a roller coaster. It would be nearly impossible to always be 100% ecstatic. In fact, it would be a bit creepy, perhaps even on the verge of false.
What I’m trying to say is that, as human beings, we must go through all kinds of situations. The trick is to accept each moment and then learn from it.
Don’t give in to suffering. Let yourself feel whatever you are supposed to be feeling in a certain situation and then it too shall pass.

3. Dig deeper and find out why something happened
So, even if something negative occurs, I will always look for more. It’s not enough to just let things happen to you and then complain about it if it’s not what you expected.
I have to find the bright side because I know there’s a lesson in any kind of situation.
This, of course, is not an easy task. It takes an effort to train your mind. It took me a lot of time to come to this stage. Take it in one-day-at-a-time steps.
And now, after years of doing this, I can’t think negatively anymore. Whatever happens, I always go for the positive. And you know what? It’s actually great to live like that.
